Minato Mirai at night! Yokohama has it all. The city pretty much as everything that Tokyo has to offer, and it is only a short JR ride from where I stayed during my study abroad program. Did you know that Minato Mirai is the most ideal place for girls’ first date? It’s true! Of the girls I surveyed at my University, majority voted Minato Mirai as the number one dating site! I thought that was interesting. Now, I can’t remember what came in second, and third… But, if you happen to need ideas on where to bring your date, you know where to go ;)! You can treat me to drinks after!

Ervine, my brother, and I climbed Mt. Fuji towards the end of my study abroad program. Hiking up Mt. Fuji wasn’t that difficult, maybe part of the reason is that we took a lot of break since I wanted to stop every now and then to take pictures. By the time we got here we have already hiked two hours in. I turned around and saw the most beautiful sunset in my life. It’s kind of like watching a sunset when you are in an airplane, except you get to feel every bit of the warmth from the sun and the breeze from high altitude.
